Begg, Cousland was founded in 1854 and a century later the name was famous world-wide for woven wire mesh screens and other wire products. For the last 20 years Begg, Cousland has specialised in the design & manufacture of Mist Eliminators, a broad range of wire & fibre form products used for industrial air pollution control and in-process filtration. It is still a privately owned Scottish company, with 5th generation involvement of the 2 founding families.
