EFFICIENT GOVERNMENT
Over the past few years The Scottish Executive has set up a number of initiatives such as:
- The Efficient Government Plan which outlines the Scottish Executive's strategy for improving the efficiency of the Scottish public sector
- Open Scotland which was set up by the 21st Century Government Unit of the Scottish Executive which provides the people of Scotland with better access to public services, improved delivery of those services and to ensure they have the skills, access and awareness to enable use of computers and the web in their daily lives.
The Executive are also partners in the Improvement Service along with the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities (COSLA) and the Society of Local Authority Chief Executives (SOLACE). The Improvement Service is devoted to improving the efficiency, quality and accountability of public services in Scotland through learning, sharing knowledge and delivering improvement solutions.
Alienation Design has long history of working with the public sector on a wide and varied range of projects. Whether it has been work for many different Scottish Executive departments, highly accessible web design for Glasgow City Council or Alienation Fort for Fife Council, we have been able to leverage our online expertise to help these organisations provide better access to the services they provide and help streamline and improve internal processes.
