Alienation Design are delighted to announce the launch of 5 new websites for Carnegie College (formally Lauder College).
Launched on Friday 30 November to coincide with the endorsement of the name change by The Scottish Parliament, the new name, websites and branding marks the start of a new era for the entrepreneurial college founded and now re-named after one of the world’s greatest businessmen, Andrew Carnegie.
Earlier local MP Willie Rennie joined College Chairman Graham Bowstead and Principal Bill McIntosh as the new Carnegie College name and logo were unveiled at a ceremony attended by the staff and students.
For the first time the college and Carnegie Enterprise have a single system to control all the sites and control can now be devolved to the relevant people. The system is integrated with the education management solution - Unit-e and was developed after recommendations made by Alienation following an extensive consultancy period that involved interviews with key Carnegie staff, investigations in to their existing systems and research on UK colleges and universities.
The new sites for Carnegie strengthens our track record in the education sector. Carnegie joins clients such as Glasgow, Dundee & Stirling University, Coatbridge College, Kelvinside Academy, South Lanarkshire College and our work for The Scottish Government on projects such as The Motivated School.
