Alienation are members of Nominet, the UK regulatory body for .uk domain names. Domain names with a number of extensions (.com, .net, .co.uk, etc.) can be registered and managed by Alienation. We have our own DNS servers and are experienced in managing a wide range of records for the majority of our clients.

As standard, all domains registered with Alienation are provided with email forwarding. Additional services are available including POP mail, List Servers and Web Mail.

sky interactive
The new Sky web portal is designed to be a mechanism by which consumers can easily and simply access and use any popular internet content and eBusiness services that have been designed to work via their television.

The portal is not an attempt to recreate the world wide web on your TV. 45% of UK homes still do not have Internet connected PC’s. The portal is designed to bring new (and existing) audiences in to a new and sometimes more convenient format.

The portal offers you the opportunity to extend your web services to a new and growing audience of approximately 20 million customers in over 7.7 million Sky households.

Interactive TV has traditionally been an option only for companies with large resources. The eBusiness portal makes it possible for site owners to publish services from their existing servers on the Sky platform for free.

For the first time, the portal offers an Internet style interface and the first interactive TV search engine. Customers will be able to search for sites, store history, favourites and create personal profiles that auto-log them in to ecommerce sites.
